On The Trail is a dynamic and innovative bluegrass band that blends the heart of tradition with a bold, contemporary sound. Formed by a group of multi-instrumentalists from Berklee College of Music and Western Connecticut State University, this New England-based quartet—Austin Scelzo (fiddle, vocals), Tom Polizzi (mandolin, vocals), Charlie Widmer (guitar, vocals), and Matt Curley (upright bass, vocals)—draws from bluegrass, folk, jazz, and Americana to create music that is both polished and imaginative.
